Radio Ryedale - with images, is an exciting exploration of new technology's ability to provide community solutions to community problems. A platform for comment, ideas and talent, and a look at Ryedale for the world wide internet audience.
Not just another web site crammed full of facts and information. More a regularly updated magazine, produced by volunteers from all sections of the Ryedale community. Stories about Ryedale, its people, places and aspirations
The 'home page' acts as a conventional 'front page', providing ready access to twelve current stories and an accessible archive for old stories. A 'soap box' letters facility invites comments on stories, ideas for new ones and conventional letters to the editor. Interactive straw polls on topical local issues will provide opportunities for argument and debate and a useful indication of what the community thinks.
We don't aspire to all the professional standards of established broadcasting organisations. We will never have their financial resources. They will feel our stories are "too parochial". For us they will attempt to safeguard and develop important aspects of our community life.

Part-time Vacancies for Students and Undergraduates
We are pleased to be able to offer this free service to employers, students and undergraduates living in Ryedale.
At this early stage, our limited resources prevent us entering into discussion or dialogue with employers or potential employees and we must stress, we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy, authenticity or responsibilities employers' have under statutory and legal provisions.
To help make it work effectively and keep administration to a minimum we ask all users to conform to these simple guidelines.
